Tipico has introduced a new quality programme, the Trusted Partner initiative, aimed at curbing illegal gambling in Germany. The programme recognizes game manufacturers that supply their products only to licensed operators, thereby avoiding partnership with unregulated gambling platforms.

Manufacturers participating in the scheme commit to transparency and player protection measures, in addition to supporting responsible gaming. The initiative offers these Trusted Partners increased marketing exposure, including campaigns across television, digital channels and Tipico’s CRM platforms.

At launch, the programme features major industry players such as Apparat, Games Global, Greentube and Play’n GO. Tipico aims to extend the Trusted Partner certification to other segments of the industry, including payment service providers and media partners, as part of its broader effort to limit the influence of illegal gambling operations.

Christian Heins, Tipico Director of iGaming, stated: “We are very pleased that several major games manufacturers have fulfilled the requirements as Trusted Partner at the start of our quality initiative already. Combating illegal offerings is essential for the successful channelisation into the legal and safe market, and we are convinced that this goal can only be achieved in the long term through a joint effort by all stakeholders.”
